The Havana Polaroids: our dreams, our fears, our nighmares
I created this project within a few days. It had been more than 14 months of the curfew in Havana, seeming to be endless. We were all locked down within our houses and apartments, our prisons for this eternity. When a mind has no new impressions, it starts to come up with its own images, own worlds, own stories. It digs deeply into its own consciousness sucking out things it would normally prefer to keep hidden. So I asked my Cuban friends - actors and models - to try to illustrate their worlds.
